Warner thrashes Tigers attack

Then, 22 y.o. Blue, David Warner, played an astonishing innings.
He was 165 n.o. from 112 balls with 19 fours and NINE sixes when NSW won by 9 wickets and with a bonus point.
It was the highest innings in one day cricket for NSW, beating Rick McCosker’s 164, set in the ‘81/82 season.
He and Phil Hughes slammed 152 in 21.3 overs before Hughes fell for 55 (57 balls). Ed Cowan (28*) simply kept putting Warner on strike.
