At 6/75, Victoria was on the ropes against Queensland in the SS  final but a rearguard action from Matt Wade (96), John Hastings (47), Damien Wright (42) and Darren Pattinson (14*) saw a stumps score of 9/286.

Chris Swan accounted for both openers and finished the day with 3/57. James Hopes and Luke Feldman took 2 wickets each.
